
TRAINING
Training is provided at Young Aquatic Centre over the summer months for members of all abilities ranging from novice to competitive swimmers, including Masters. Training sessions are also organised during the winter months at Cootamundra Indoor Pool.
Our coaches provide a graduated program of skill and physical development suitable to an individuals age and level of physical maturity aimed to maximise all swimmers potential and enjoyment of swimming. With a philosophy to instill a love of swimming in every swimming club member our coaches approach training with enthusiasm, commitment and dedication.

SQUAD LEVELS & PATHWAYS
Swimmers are placed in training squads suitable to their current level, with our coaches constantly monitoring all swimmers and moving them up through the levels as their ability improves.
There are 3 Core Squad groups each with their own squad levels to cater for swimmers ability. Each squad level is provided appropriate training tailored to the ability of the group, with the training program designed to progress swimmers through to the next group. The Coaching Plan provides detailed information of the squad levels, entry level ability, and aims for the squad level.
TRAINING TIMES
Young ASC offers training sessions Monday through to Thursday. Refer to the Squad Training Schedule for detail on training sessions for each squad level.
