Young Amateur Swimming Club
Swim Clubs open up a world of possibilities for swimmers of all abilities. Whether you’re just starting out, training more seriously, or looking for a way to compete, a swim club is the perfect way to take your swimming to the next level.
Just because Friday night racing has wrapped up doesn’t mean that training is done. Squad training for all levels will be on for at least the next 4 weeks, with the last week of the school term to be decided upon closer to the time (dependent on weather etc).
For now, just keep swimming.., 🏊 🏊♀️ 🏊♂️

🏆Club Championships Night THREE 🏆
Our final championship night is this Friday 8th March!
Please remember to get your entries in through Swim Central by no later than 4pm on Friday. Entries after this time CANNOT be accepted.
For the benefit of our new families, Club Championship nights are run a little different to our normal Friday night club nights as they are classified as approved, sanctioned Swimming NSW events and we will have approved SNSW Technical Officials in attendance.
We are required to have 2 timekeepers per lane as the times are official times and are recorded on the swimmer’s record & these nights also determine who our club champions for each age group are for the season.
📢Roster for timekeeping to follow ⏰, please keep an eye out on our facebook page and emails.
Please also note some other ‘rules’ that we are required to enforce given the status of the event:
✖️ Warm up will be from 5pm - 5.45pm
✖️ Start time is 6pm sharp
✖️ Watches, jewellery and wristbands must be removed for competition
✖️ There are rules around the type of swimwear allowed (swimwear with ties is not allowed. Boys are not allowed to wear underwear under their swimwear (or 2 pairs of swimmers) however, girls are allowed to wear period underwear under their swimwear)
✖️ There are also rules around the wearing of strapping tape, bandages etc. If your child needs to wear tape or band aids for any reason, check with the referee at the start of the competition
✖️ Please make sure that your swimmer listens for their race to be called and proceeds immediately to marshalling to have their names marked off and placed in their seat. Please note that parents are NOT permitted in the marshalling area
✖️ Your swimmer may receive an ‘infraction report’ (more commonly known as a disqualification) if their stroke technique is not considered sound by the judge of strokes
We understand that some of the rules seem strange to people who are new to the sport, but these are the rules of our sport and on championship nights they must be enforced.
Our President Renee Williams will be on pool deck on Friday night so please make sure you approach her if you have any questions or concerns.
Goodluck to all competitors!! ❤️🤍💙 ... See MoreSee Less
