What a great day of racing! βΊοΈ Yesterday we hosted our biennial swimming carnival and it was a roaring success. There were PBs and Qualifying Times galore and lots of fun moments. We fielded a huge team of swimmers and it was great to see so many youngsters at their first carnival. βΊοΈ
Congratulations to our relay teams for their great swims in the 16 and under Freestyle relays. YASC took out 1st and 2nd in both the boys and the girls races!
Thank you to everyone who helped out and made the day run smoothly and supported our swimmers. π΅βͺοΈπ΄πβΊοΈ ... See MoreSee Less

This Sunday Young ASC will host clubs from across the area at our swimming carnival. These carnivals do not happen without a lot of support from the club members and we appreciate everything that you do. π
As hosts we have the responsibility of timekeeping for two lanes for the whole day. That means that we need to provide 6 timekeepers at all times across the day. To keep this fair we have created a timekeeping roster. If you are not able to participate at your nominate time it is your responsibility to organise someone else to take your place. Please see the attached photo with the roster.
Remember that timekeeping is a vital element of this sport and whilst it carries great responsibility it is actually far easier than you might think. If you haven't done timekeeping before the Chief Timekeeper (or other experienced timekeepers) can help you with what to do.
We wish all our swimmers the best of luck. Have a great day! ππ€β€οΈ ... See MoreSee Less
